Skokholm Island

In July 2013 I went to an Island off the Pembrokeshire coast called Skokholm a bird sanctuary. It is know mostly for it’s Puffins, but there are other birds like Razorbill’s, Guillemot’s, Oystercatcher’s Peregrines’s and many more. I stayed for 5 days photographing these amazing birds. The accommodation is limited. The electric comes from solar power and only running water is in the rooms, no showers. The Island has been restored over the pass few years after it was closed in 2007.

Here is a link to the restoration.
