Bempton Cliffs 2015
So it was back to Bempton Cliffs to photograph the Gannets.May is partially a good time of year to go as the grass has not grown too long, and the Gannets are easier to see.
This time I travelled up on my own as my other friends decided against it because of the weather forecast rain, rain and rain. I’m glad I did take the gamble as it turned out to be excellent weather conditions, with nice light and a bit of wind which keep the birds up above the cliff tops.
I stayed at Wold farm again as it’s easy to walk to the Gannet colony. It takes about 40 minutes across the farmland and along the cliff top, there is always the chance of an added bonus like a Kestrel.
